phonon~is a collective of audiovisual artists based in Usti nad Labem (CZ) focused on experimental electronic music, sound art and contemporary electroacoustic music.
In Summer 2023 phonon~ has joined forces with the Austrian spatial sound platform OTTOsonics, Tangible Music Lab Linz and the Leipzig-based collective ZiMMT, active in the field of experimental music, spatial sound and education. The collaboration resulted in the project Ambisonics – summer school, which consists of 3 parts:
- a two-week residency for artists selected through an open call;
- a spatial sound symposium open to the public;
- an ambisonic concert presenting the outcomes of the residency.
